A friend of mine (who shall remain nameless) has 4 tickets available, and has come up with a plan so cunning you could pin a tail on it and call it a weasel,
for how to distribute them back to the Burner community.
In short, you can :
– date her (if you’re cool)
– find her a nice apartment (if it’s in San Francisco)
– write some code (which better work)

She’s a great gal, a true Burner with flair and panache…that’s her hat I’m wearing in my own profile pic. I hope this leads to something interesting and positive for her.
There could even be an arbitrage opportunity here for the enterprising ticketless Burner who is not on the Guest List, between $4-5k worth of ticket value, and what is available on Rent-a-Coder for a few rupees or colones…
Did you say $4-5K of ticket value? I hope you didn’t mean it.
The value is questionable – since no-one in line knows what’s actually inside. In terms of, “what is the dollar net worth of 4 Burning Man tickets on Mar 11, 2012?”, it’s pretty basic – cheapest ticket on Stubhub is $1150, times 4 = $4600 . Quod Erat Demonstrandum.
