You’re gonna wish you had three hands. (Via Twitter)Her name is Jasmine Tridevil. She’s 21, from Tampa, Florida (of course), and her name isn’t the only thing that’s fake. She also has three breasts on purpose. She was born with two naturals and then, after being rejected by 50 surgeons, found one doctor at the bottom of the barrel who would stick a third one on her right in the middle.
The doctor had to make that boob from scratch out of silicone, skin tissue from her stomach, and a mini-implant to create a protruding nipple. Later she had an areola tattooed on to complete the look.
As Miss Tridevil explained on The News Junkie program on Orlando radio station 104.1, the whole procedure cost her $20,000, and her doctor required that she sign a non-disclosure agreement protecting his identity so that he “wouldn’t get in trouble.”
But why, you ask yourself in your sane-person’s head, would she do this?
She wants to become an MTV reality star.

The show is going to be real, and it will be spectacular. Documenting her life as a three-breasted woman, she saved the moment she showed her mom what she had done for the cameras. This is sad for her family, but great for anyone who wants to see footage of her mom freaking out and running out the door. Her mom now refuses to speak to her, and will not let Jasmine’s sister speak to her, either.
She told her dad on camera, too. Apparently, he “really isn’t happy.”

Gotta (third) hand it to her, that’s the exact kind of irrational circular logic that is perfect for reality TV.
Television stardom is her goal now, but she claims that’s not why she got the surgery. She says she is sick of dating, so she made herself “unattractive to men.” She clearly underestimates man’s motivation.
On the plus, side, whoever created that three-boob-bra Etsy store finally has a customer base.

Ever date a chick with fake tits? They’re crazy narcissists. You can’t even touch their tits without getting a warning not to squeeze them in case they rupture. Their the most useless things in the history of humanity. Much of the time the nipples have lost all sensation and are just reattached decoration. It’s insanity.
This has nothing to do with Burning Man. Quit wasting our time with clickbait and report on some real news. You’re better than this.

By “real news”, I mean news about the festival, the BMOrg, and the interesting things that Burning Man artists are creating. You have the connections and reputation for decent journalism that make it possible for you to bring these stories to light. Posting news stories that are not even tangentially related to BRC or Regional activities dilutes that influence and degrades your social capital, whereas pieces like today’s Trends-Hunter article are what make it possible for you to have the inside scoop on issues of interest and importance to Burners–which I think is the main intention of this blog.
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. I’m pretty sure Burners.Me has more news about Burning Man, BMOrg, and things BM artists are creating, than any other site on the Internet.
Perhaps you’d be surprised to know that just as you dislike this story – thinking that it lowers my credibility and is not something I should be writing about – I have others giving me the EXACT same feedback today about the Trends Hunter story on Comfortable Commodification, that you hold up as an example of what I “should” be writing.
Both stories have been read by about the same number of people (just under 50,000), with the same number of Likes/Comments/Shares (in the hundreds). Clearly, there are plenty of people who think both stories are good enough, and credible enough, to want to share them with others. So what should I do? Delete them both, because some Burners didn’t like them? Pretty soon there’d be no site left.
I try to present a range of stories, rather than focusing in on just one aspect of Burner culture. Transhumanism and Radical Inclusion is very relevant, IMO.
It’s not possible to please everyone, and I get nothing out of writing this. I created this blog to share my opinions, that’s the main intention. You don’t have to like or agree with all the opinions or stories, but hopefully at least I can stimulate some conversation, and some people find the site interesting. I’m not sure why you think Social Capital at Burning Man is important to me, if it was then my name would be all over this site.
I do believe that Burning Man could be better, and that it will just continue to get worse if Burners shut up and trust BMOrg to continue down the path they’ve set us on. So if there is any point to this, it is the hope that through community education and discussion we can all consciously evolve together in a positive direction. There is too much bullshit in this community, I would like to cut through the bullshit so that everyone is speaking the same language and making decisions from the same set of facts. Of course, it may be too late for TTITD, but that’s not the fault of Burners.Me.
Perhaps rather than readers focusing on what I should and shouldn’t write about, they could exercise some Radical Self-Reliance about what they read and what they skip. If you don’t like a particular story, there are many others here that you may find more relevant to your own interests.

I usually don’t read crap about obviously ‘crazy folk’, but I’m finding that I really enjoy pretty much everything you post here, and especially enjoy reading the comments. So I read this one too.
