I’m glad they’re sticking to a new Man. It’s the perfect symbol for BM 3.0 (Make as much money as possible). It was always a bit sad to see the old Man dwarfed by crazier and crazier bases.
Is the BMOrgionaires installation making it out? You know where every member of the pre-stone-age-oligarchy is represented as animatronic-dummies. The one where you can insert P2P-fundraising tokens into either of their two faces, to hear classic org one liners, like:

Larry Harvey has wanted it this way for awhile. My guess is the Man will be designed like this for a few years at least.

One of the bits I did when I was the “tour guide” on our art car was to announce on the mic, “Word just came in, this year’s burn is gender neutral. Going forward, please refer to the event as Burning Person.”
Yeah not that funny, but I got a few chuckles.
As I have written before, you should not do your day job and get paid when you come to BRC. My advice is to keep your day job.

I’m not so sure the Torso one with it’s arms resting on the ground is on the actual playa…. Doesn’t look very Playa like… Cool art though.
