Has There Ever Been This Many Burning Man Tickets Available So Close To The Burn?

Tickets! Get yer Burning Man tickets!

I’m old enough to remember when Burning Man used to sell out in minutes. When they had to invent all kinds of waiting room shenanigans to torment those desperate to get dusty.

Well, now we’re 2 weeks out from the Burn, you can still buy tickets from the Burning Man web site at your choice of either $630.75 $652.83 or $1639 $1696.37 and a Vehicle Pass for $154 $159.39. Or, if you like saving your money, you can buy 566 of the same tickets for half price on Stubhub starting from around $300.

We’re hearing that RV rentals available for Labor Day weekend are already at regular rates in Los Angeles, rather than special Burning Man prices. Will the Bay Area be forced to follow?

Is this a sign that Burning Man is over? Or that the population limit is not being as strictly enforced as it has been in prior years?

  3. Looks like tourists got a bit tired of paying the price just to take pictures of other tourists who stand around and take pictures of them. That’s what it was like last BM – lots of people waiting around for someone to do something while taking pictures of a lot of people just taking pictures… Then there was the violence during exodus, people flying into rages and even pulling people out of their cars. Intense anger stoked by BMIR and Org that deputized citizens to attack those who tried to leave. Yeah, no thanks. Got other things to do.

  4. I’ve never seen this before: Mad Ave advertisements, tickets now available, but wait: vehicle passes are available! And no inane hoops to jump to qualify, maybe BM Inc be jumping the shark! This will be my 15th year so I’m hoping Inc will make needed changes that competition demands like better access road conditions, faster entry times, bring back great live bands, and pay their workers fairly and especially the artists! And how about Centre Camp concessions again?

  5. Best goat rodeo ever! See you out there. (24th burn for me) I completely forgot this bitch ass site existed.

  6. The first BM ticket I bought was from a headshop in Santa Cruz. The owner had an enormous stack of them. I think it was $35… Seems the org is more interested in a few thousand more bucks rather than maintaining the illusion that the event is still cool. Makes sense, tho.

  7. Most likely the shitty economy, fear of WWIII about to kick of and no one credible at the helm of this nation. Hello anyone there? What a cluster fuck shit show goat rodeo. Wow. Only up from here?
